It offers 14 undergraduate Ayurveda programmes and is located 3 km from the heart of Koppal City on Hospet Road.
We offer 14 undergraduate programmes in Ayurvedic medicine and allied disciplines, all affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and recognised by NCISM. The flagship programme is the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery). Admissions for 2025–26 are currently open.
The college is situated on a sprawling 5-acre campus in sylvan surroundings on Hospet Road, just 3 km from the heart of Koppal City — the Rice Bowl of Karnataka. Koppal is well connected by road and rail to major cities in Karnataka.
Our 60-bed teaching hospital offers full IPD and OPD services, a dedicated Panchakarma Unit, central laboratory, primary emergency care, general wards, operating theatres, consultation rooms, X-ray room, ECG room, sonography room, physiotherapy unit, and a 24/7 emergency ambulance service.
Our Panchakarma Unit offers all five classical Shodhana karmas — Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana — along with a full range of Purvakarma therapies including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Kizhi, Navarakizhi, Pizhichil, Netra Tarpana, and Karna Purana, administered under expert Vaidya supervision.
Dr. Mahantagouda Biradar, MD (Ayu) – Panchakarma, serves as the Principal and Medical Superintendent of Agastya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Koppal.
