The Department of Roganidana and Vikriti Vijnana at Agastya Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Koppal, serves as the academic and clinical foundation for disease diagnosis and understanding of pathogenesis in Ayurveda. The department is dedicated to cultivating analytical and diagnostic skills by integrating classical Ayurvedic principles with contemporary diagnostic methodologies.

The teaching emphasizes a logic-based and patient-centered approach to Nidana (etiology), Purvarupa (prodromal features), Rupa (clinical manifestations), and Samprapti (pathogenesis), enabling students to interpret disease processes comprehensively.
